Hallim Park
| Address | 300, Hallim-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si |
Jeju Hallim Park is a symbol of pioneering spirit. In 1971, Song Bong-gyu, the Park's founder, began planting palm seeds on a 100,000 pyeong (330,580 m2) sandy wasteland, eventually creating the green paradise that exists today.
Holding monthly festivals under each of its nine imaginative themes, Hallim Park is an international tourist attraction that boasts a guest list of government and business leaders, such as former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, former Japanese Prime Minister Nakasone Yasuhiro, former Korean President Kim Dae-jung, former Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee, and former Hyundai Group Chairman Chung Ju-yung. The Park is quickly becoming a world-class tourist destination and a Unique Venue for diverse MICE events.
